Die Hard

205 S. High St.

This window's artwork was inspired by the 1988 action movie, Die Hard. The film was based on the 1979 novel Nothing Lasts Forever by Roderick Thorp.

From the history of this residence: After widow Jane Factor died in 1935, her adult children Bernard and Hilda continued to live here. When the house went on the market in 1955, an ad offered it as “a house close to schools and church.” It was on the market again in 1959 for $14,750, featuring 8 rooms, hardwood floors, 1 ½ baths and closed in rear porch.
